Waiter

About the Role:

As a Waiter at Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort, you will be an essential part of our guest dining experience. You’ll serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner while providing excellent service to our guests. Your duties include taking orders, preparing drinks and desserts, and offering personalized recommendations to upsell appetizers, desserts, or drinks. Whether at Passions on the Beach or Horizons Lounge, your role is vital to ensuring guests enjoy their meals in a welcoming atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests and escort them to their tables.
• Take guest orders, ensuring accuracy and effective communication with the kitchen.
• Prepare drinks, cocktails, and desserts to complement the dining experience.
• Offer menu recommendations and upsell appetizers, drinks, or desserts.
• Provide attentive service throughout the dining experience, addressing any guest needs.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining area.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Hospitality training is a plus.
• Experience in the hospitality industry is preferred.
• Ability to work shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Fluency in English, Spanish, and Papiamento.
