About the Role:

As an Operations & HR Coordinator, you will work closely with the Operations and HR Manager, supporting both departments in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and fostering a positive workplace culture. This role offers a unique opportunity to combine operational management with HR responsibilities, making it ideal for someone eager to gain broad experience in the hospitality industry.

In your Operations role, you will assist with planning, scheduling, and ensuring compliance for various departments, including Room Care, Maintenance, Housekeeping, and Hospitality. You will also act as the Application Coordinator for Unifocus, monitoring workflows and minor projects to ensure they are completed efficiently and on time.

On the HR side, you will handle administrative tasks like employee onboarding and offboarding, coordinate employee events, manage timeclock control, and provide general support to the HR team to foster a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning, scheduling, and ensuring smooth operations for Room Care, Maintenance, Housekeeping, and Hospitality.
  • Act as the primary Application Coordinator for Unifocus, ensuring compliance and workflow accuracy across operational tasks.
  • Monitor operational projects and help troubleshoot issues in both office and field settings.
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding processes for employees, including preparing documents and facilitating introductions to the company.
  • Coordinate employee events and activities to enhance the work environment and team morale.
  • Oversee timeclock control, ensuring that employee hours are accurately tracked.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team to help meet departmental goals and improve employee engagement.

Requirements:

  • Education: EPI diploma in Technology, Science, Hospitality, or Economy.
  • Skills: Strong ability to understand technical terms and adapt to operational and HR processes.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in collaboration with various teams.
