Maintenance Technician (All-around)

Job Summary:

Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort is looking for a skilled and reliable Hotel Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the hotel's facilities, equipment, and systems remain in excellent working condition. Your work will help maintain a comfortable and inviting environment for our guests and staff by ensuring everything operates smoothly and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on hotel equipment and systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry tasks.
• Troubleshoot and repair issues related to mechanical, electrical, and facility systems as they arise.
• Conduct regular inspections of hotel facilities to ensure everything is functioning properly and in line with safety regulations.
• Collaborate with other team members to complete maintenance projects and ensure all systems are running efficiently.
• Assist in responding to guest maintenance requests and resolve issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks to reduce the risk of breakdowns and costly repairs.
• Be available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed.

Requirements:

• EPB or EPI Diploma.
• Basic knowledge of maintenance practices across various systems, such as electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and carpentry.
• Previous experience in maintenance is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret basic diagrams, schematics, and manuals.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
