Job Summary:

Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort is seeking an experienced HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems throughout the resort. Your work will ensure that our HVAC systems are operating efficiently, providing optimal comfort and air quality for guests and staff. You will play a key role in maintaining a safe and comfortable environment by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and resolving HVAC-related problems in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems and equipment across the resort.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure the efficiency and reliability of HVAC systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve HVAC issues quickly to minimize downtime and ensure optimal comfort for guests.
  • Monitor system performance and make adjustments to optimize heating, cooling, and air quality.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance team members to ensure seamless hotel operations.
  • Respond to emergency HVAC repairs, including during evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of an HVAC technical training program or apprenticeship is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in HVAC maintenance and repair.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and safety standards.
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex HVAC issues.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
