About the Role:

As a Houseman at Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort, you will play a key role in ensuring that the public areas of the resort are clean, organized, and welcoming for guests. You will assist with minor repairs, maintain cleanliness in common areas, and respond to guest requests to ensure a pleasant experience. You’ll also support the housekeeping team and work closely with other departments to meet the needs of our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain public areas such as porches, windows, and common spaces to ensure they meet the hotel’s cleanliness standards.
• Handle minor repairs, replace malfunctioning units or furniture as needed, and report larger issues to management.
• Respond to guest requests promptly and courteously to ensure their satisfaction.
• Use cleaning equipment and supplies to ensure the property remains clean and organized.
• Work with the housekeeping team to ensure overall cleanliness across the resort.
• Coordinate with other departments to address guest concerns and requests efficiently.
• Assist with other miscellaneous tasks as required, including setting up and breaking down event spaces.

Requirements:

• No formal educational requirements.
• Handyman knowledge is a plus.
• Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and products is a plus.
• Familiarity with hand tools and some power tools is advantageous.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
