Housekeeping Supervisor
About the Role:
Take on a leadership role at Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort, where excellence in hospitality and sustainability are at the heart of everything we do. As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will lead a dedicated team responsible for maintaining the pristine condition of our guest rooms, public areas, and outdoor spaces. Your role will ensure that every guest enjoys a clean, comfortable, and memorable stay while supporting our commitment to environmental stewardship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise, train, and evaluate the performance of Room Attendants, Housemen, Beach Men, and Laundry Attendants.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure all areas meet the resort’s high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- Assist with housekeeping tasks during peak times to ensure seamless operations.
- Coordinate and manage work assignments efficiently to meet daily demands.
- Promote and implement the resort’s environmental policies and practices.
- Utilize the Property Management System (PMS) to input and access relevant information.
Requirements:
- EPI Hospitality Diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of three years of relevant experience in housekeeping, with at least one year in a supervisory role.
- Fluency in English, Dutch, Papiamento, and Spanish.
- Strong knowledge of housekeeping procedures and policies.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in using PMS systems and basic computer applications.
