Hospitality Agent
About the Role:
As a Hospitality Agent at Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort, you’ll be responsible for creating a warm, welcoming environment for our guests from the moment they book their stay. You will build relationships with guests, manage their check-ins and check-outs, and handle special requests to ensure they have an exceptional and personalized experience. Your role will also involve acting as a concierge, resolving guest concerns, and providing front desk services to meet the needs of our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a smooth check-in process.
- Assist with check-outs and manage billing inquiries.
- Act as a concierge, assisting guests with requests for tours, transportation, restaurant reservations, and more.
- Handle guest complaints professionally and report any issues to management.
- Collect guest preferences and ensure personalized service is provided throughout their stay.
- Provide accurate information about hotel facilities, services, and activities.
- Maintain awareness of the resort's environmental policies and promote eco-friendly practices.
- Represent the resort in a professional manner and ensure guests receive the best possible service.
Requirements:
- EPI Hospitality School Diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent.
- Fluent in English, Dutch, Papiamento, and Spanish.
- Strong working knowledge of hospitality industry principles and methods.
- One to two years of experience as a front desk agent is a plus.
- Experience in all aspects of customer service is a plus.
