Job Summary:

Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort is seeking a skilled and dedicated Electric Technician to join our team. As the Hotel Electrician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of all electrical systems and equipment across the property. Your responsibilities will include installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems to support both guest services and the overall operational needs of the resort. This role is essential in maintaining a comfortable and secure environment for both guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and devices within hotel property.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and ensure timely repairs to prevent service disruptions.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems to ensure safe operation.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, diagrams, and schematics to carry out installations and repairs.
• Collaborate with other maintenance team members to ensure smooth hotel operations.
• Respond to emergency electrical issues efficiently, including working evenings, weekends, or holidays if needed.

Requirements:

• Finalized MBO Diploma, preferably in the Electrical field.
• Working experience in the electrical field is a plus.
• Certified Electrician License is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
