World Tourism Event at Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort
Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort is excited to announce our World Tourism Event, designed to foster a deeper connection among our employees, guests, and the global community. This event celebrates our shared heritage, emphasizes the importance of cultural diversity in tourism, and highlights our collective responsibility to care for the planet.
By promoting sustainability and environmental awareness, we aim not only to strengthen our commitment to responsible tourism but also to set a standard within the hospitality industry. This initiative reflects our dedication to protecting the environment while celebrating the richness of cultures around the world.
Highlights of the Event
During the event, we offered a special treat called the "Taste of Aruba Basket," featuring a variety of Aruban delicacies such as deep-fried snapper, funchi, marinated onions, plantains, and more. We also introduced a unique local drink named the "Aruba Dragon Hybrid," a refreshing blend of dragon fruit and traditional Aruba Ariba ingredients.
Guests enjoyed traditional music from the “Caha di Orgel”, a mechanical instrument that combines elements of a barrel piano and organ, perfect for genres like waltz, joropo, tumba, polka, danza, and mazurka. Additionally, dancers in traditional Aruban attire and a carnival performer were present for photo opportunities, adding to the festive atmosphere.
In hosting this event, we hope to strengthen our reputation as a hotel that values and prioritizes sustainability. We believe that by championing responsible tourism, we can inspire both our industry peers and travelers to adopt practices that support the long-term health of our planet.
